Greetings from Uruguay
This is a sample of what Missionary life is about for me and Gramps. (don't want you to be too jealous of the beautiful blue sky) The flower patch is ourside of our front door.
Under the Palm tree with me is another missionary, Hermana Kim Goates from West Jordan. We went to their home to meet them before we were in the MTC.
The group of kids in front of the Temple is our Primary. They came for a special visit to see the Temple and the beautiful grounds. We met them, and sang songs about the Temple, and spoke to them about the special opportunity of being Sealed to our Families by special Priesthood authority.

Meet our Visitor

I wanted you to see our Korean exchange student, Kim. She's only ten, if you can believe it, and she's staying with us until the end of January. We're practicing our counting in Korean, and it's a tough language to hear. She'll probably return home to report that Americans really are a bunch of dummies, after all.

Based on this photo, we may or may not be new to polite society--you decide.

Winter Wonderland in Utah

Hi Everyone,
I'm so glad to see all the pictures and hear all the great things you've all been doing. We had so much fun in Utah after Christmas--the snow and cold weather were just as they should be--good work! I'm doing a test to see if I can load my pictures directly from my camera, so here goes...
You'll be excited to see Peteetneet in the background with Mike and Will, where we met Diane, Brig, Whit, Summer and Tiffany for a good ol' sledding session. The next day we took Lise and Grace skiing (they were superb!) at Sundance, where we nearly lost our limbs to the cold. What a great trip we had!
