The Proposal!!!

Aly went to Arizona to run a race.... Secretly, Brett flew out to Arizona. The day before the race, there was a knock on the door at the Beck's... Aly found a note taped to the door that read:

"You must think quickly! There is a little message for you at un restaurante mexicano where you met El Mas Guapo! Too bad you had to be on the date with the wrong gringo! It might rhyme with 'mi esposa' "

The race was on!! Brett set up a scavenger hunt all over the valley- from East Mesa, to Carefree, Scottsdale and Phoenix!! Leaving notes and roses along the way.

The chase ended at Camelback Mountain (which Brett had climbed carrying flowers, lunch and a ring box! and Aly climbed in sandals- so worth it!) And Brett aptly asking, "So, are you ready for this adventure?"
It was so special to share this special experience with our family that night!! Some people really know how to set the mood with dimmed lights, romantic music, an open dance floor, strobe lights and all eyes on the newly engaged couple!! We loved sharing our first dance as an engaged couple with the Becks, Masons, Susan, Dani and Jackson! All and all an absolutely perfect experience!
So mark your calendars for April 16th for a wedding in Arizona! We are so excited to see everyone, especially Mom and Dad from Uruguay. Thank you all for traveling long distances to be there in April- It will be so special to have all of the family together and we are eternally grateful for such wonderful families!! Thank you for the love you have shown us!

My Fair William

Will wasn't about to be outshined at Liza's birthday party with all the frills and hair-dos (Brigham, I told you...)! I think Will is going to thank me when this photo shows up in his high school yearbook.

La Di Da with the Masons

We took a trip to the Phoenix zoo last week--it was sunny enough for shorts and sunglasses. Who needs barbed wire fences when you're naturally surrounded by cactus?
